Never Give Up

☼ Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine as children do. It's not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

☼ If you can't accept me at my worst, you don't deserve me at my best.

I think I fell in love with this song..☼

Mormon Messages ☼

On facebook tonight I came upon a video from the LDS fan page on a story of a man who survived 911 by running from the twin towers. His life was filled with pain still years after, because he asks, "Why me? Why did I survive?"--Life is given trials to become better, to love others, and to change ourselves. I have been watching so many of these video messages of personal stories from LDS.org and I am in loveee!! I have been crying, because of the spirit I have felt and I feel I love life even more. :]

  1. My Dear Sweet Ashley,

I want you to know that I love you so much. You are so strong. Never forget who you truly are. Your entries are so sincere.

I want to share one of my favorite quotes with your from President Hinckley. He said this in the April 2002 conference concerning our elder brother, Jesus Christ, " Like the polar star in the heavens, regardless of what the future holds, there stands the Redeemer of the world, the Son of God, certain and sure as the anchor of our immortal lives. He is the rock of our salvation, our strength, our comfort, the very focus of our faith.

In sunshine and in shadow we look to Him, and He is there to assure and smile upon us."

I know these things to be true. There is hope, there is joy when we look to Christ to help us through the good times and the difficult times of our life. Be strong and know that you are always only a prayer away from your Heavenly Father.

    Love, Your Uncle Nathaniel
