Never Give Up

☼ Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine as children do. It's not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

☼ If you can't accept me at my worst, you don't deserve me at my best.

I think I fell in love with this song..☼

In a Commotion ☼

So this past week I had the wonderful opportunity to go to St. George for a volleyball tournament. It was so fun! All of us staying in a hotel, driving down there, being silly together. Turned out for me that it was something meant to make me stronger.

The first day I got sick with something..I don't even know what. I couldn't breathe at some points and I seriously knew something was up, but I didn't like it at all. I started playing in the last game of the day and when I switched positions to come out back row I just could not take it anymore. Tiff helped me out to get some medicine and I sat out the whole game. Coach helped me lots and tried to see if it was asthma by giving me an inhaler. Didn't work. As we were at Pizza Factory my team (as I was told) prayed that I would be able to feel better that night. It's crazy cuz I believe after they said the prayer I had a feeling I needed to try throw up. The rest is history. Yeah that night I got a good rest. The next day was soo fun! We wore our shirts we made and everything..until the last game we were playing and I was determined to get another block. After getting 11 blocks that day I went up for another block only to come down on one of the other team's girl's foot. It rolled out and became one huge SPRANG.

Warning: do not wear one ankle brace and not one on the other. My left foot..the one without the ankle brace..learned it's lesson. It is now really puffy and not really fun. I'm out for 3 weeks til try-outs, but I know it happened to make me stronger. There are no regrets. My teammates, coaches, and parents helped me soo much!! Thanks so much!! :]

I had so much fun! :]
